Just as I finished tucking away the last of my summer clothes, a video popped up on my FYP that I just couldn't ignore.

Even better, it looked cozy enough for cooler weather. Sophisticated yet effortless, it struck the perfect balance, and before I knew it, I was digging back through storage to rescue my shorts.
It's a new era for hot pants. Shorts with tights. It's a Y2K trend revived — instantly surfacing memories of strutting through my middle school hallways in denim over leggings. But the trend has matured with us, transforming into something sleeker and more refined.
Leather shorts are having a major moment. I’m seeing them in both high and low waisted styles, often paired with sheer black or brown tights. Throw in black heeled boots and a sleek bun or ponytail, and you've got an easy, night-out-ready ensemble.
